$400 Budget – 9/1

We went over budget in August.  I was prepared for it, as we had about $12.00 left a week ago.  I really dislike going over budget, but sometimes it is a reality of life.  We will absorb the shortage in the September budget.  And hopefully this month will go better.

This week, I shopped several times.  I went to Costco, Wal-Mart (twice), Dollar Tree, CVS, and the local chain I am not angry at (twice).  Honestly, I do not understand how I spent so much time buying groceries.  I think it might be from camper shopping.  When I was at Wal-Mart buying towel rods or kitchen gadgets, things just ended up in the cart.

If you are new to my weekly budgeting posts, you can read the original post here.  As always, our weekly menu plan is listed down below.
